Job Purpose
Design, develop, or evaluate energy-related projects programs to reduce energy costs to improve energy efficiency during the designing, building, or remodeling stages of construction and
operation. Specialize in electrical systems related to telecom industry.
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Control
- Leads Engineering team assigned projects as per the national portfolio standard guideline and principal, including tracking, monitoring, controlling, and updating the status of multiple projects for programme deliverables.
- Works with Engineering Head to prepare proposals to Government officials for new sites and design of non-conventional solutions.
- Will work closely with the operation team as technical leads at site and obtaining relevant energy saving.
- Oversee design or construction aspects related to energy such as energy engineering, energy management and sustainable design.
- Lead tracking of National and Regional KPI’s
- Manage Lessons Learned repository; attend Post Project Review meetings to identify keyareas of improvement to be captured into the Lessons Learnt repository.
Management
- Assist Head of Engineering on streams of other large projects.
- Identify energy savings opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy efficient operation.
- Manage the development, design, or construction of energy conservation projects to ensure acceptability of budgets and timelines.
- Conduct energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs, or conservation measures.
- Monitoring projects against Annual Targets, Project Targets, Actual achievements, and remaining sites vs Business Plans.
- Ensure customers’ needs are met in a timely effective manner.
- Work closely with Engineering design to ensure new incoming projects are established as per customers requirement with power and tower.
Qualifications & Skills
- Min. 3 to 5 years of experience in Electrical specializing in the telecommunications of construction industry.
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical).
- Good knowledge of electrical background.
- Workable Knowledge of the building Telecommunications and construction industry.
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, general accounting.
- Good command of the English language.
- Self-starter; willing to learn new things, focussed, forward thinker, Lateral thinker, flexible, driven systematic approach.

- Internal: Engineering, Operations (Workshop/Warehouse), Finance, Legal & Regulatory
- External: Government Officials, Vendors
